Why I cannot put Sarah Palin a heartbeat from the White House.

A friend of my aunt's sent this to her.  They used to teach together in California, but the friend now lives in Alaska.  She and many other women in Alaska are horrified that Palin is the Rep. VP nominee.  Here's why:

I haven't had a chance to read the whole thing, which I will. But the governor of each state is in fact in charge of the national guard. It's not a federal entity. It's the Alaska National Guard. The Missouri National Guard, etc. it gets confused often because of the word "National" in the title.

Also the oil refund is something they get Because of Palin, that she took fro the budget. It still is a state budget just like any other, and you need to put the money to good use, even if there is a lot to go around.

The comparison to Biden is not so pretty either... he ran for President himself in the past and his campaign fell short because of all of his corruption. He has admitted to plaigarism, his son is a lobbyist, etc. He's been in Washington a long time and has been a part of so many of the things that Obama promises to change.

When Biden was announced as VP nom, my actual first "word" was "Ugh."

I can't imagine not putting most of that state money into education and programs to increase the graduation rate.

If you'll notice, I did not quote any of the points that factcheck questioned. The reason for the firing may be up for dispute, but the librarian was indeed fired when she stood up to Palin.
