The Adventure Continues...
This is Indiana Jones meets Stargate, Roswell, X-Files. Indiana Jones hunts and discovers Aliens as Archeologists. Then like in Roswell, the mountain (ancient ruin in this case) unravels to expose an alien ship that suddenly disappears. It's all up in the sky between earth and the space beyond. It's not the best Indiana Jones movie but how much more can Indy discover and make it interesting for us. I found the movie entertaining but the ending anti-climatic.
Things I liked:
At the beginning sequence, they address the fact about Indy’s age. He admits to being older.
Indy being a Colonel.
The way he discovers the artifact the Russian wants in Area 51.
He meets Mutt and makes fun of his name. Pot calling the kettle black.
The sequence where Mutt was channeling Danny Zuko. It was very Grease.
Advising Mutt to “Do What You Love” then telling him to go back to school when he discovers Mutt’s his son
Marion’s back.
So-So:
Marion waited all these years for Indy to find out he has a son.
Indy breaking off their engagement a week before the wedding.
