Patrick's getting interested in girls. Or so it seems. Something is going on, that much I know. He's looking at boobs in bathing suits, he's splashing (older) girls at the pool, and he has this grin on his face when he's supposed to rough up his female taekwondo instructors. And I've tried to explain to him that this is definitely not the way to go

Wow, Patrick's growing up so fast. Maybe, it's the influence of his friends. Hopefully, you can curb his enthusiasm to a manageable degree.

I don't know if this is a friend's influence, because all they ever do is talk about video games and tv shows. I don't see them hanging around and giggling and whispering. And when the friends go to the pool with us, they don't stare and smile.

Flash is doing the same thing! His dad asked him what he'd be if he could be anything in the world - and he told him, "A girl, so I could look at my breasts"! And we had the whole discussion of where babies come out of a woman's body, and I told him about the vagina. This... was not a one time conversation, and when he saw our next door neighbor, who's pregnant, I practically had to clap my hand over his mouth and warn him to keep in mind the "ok to ask" verses "wildly inappropriate" conversation we've had several times. ;)

I'm just a bit relieved that this is normal, apparently. His procreation questions haven't even scratched the surface yet, of which I'm glad. I always thought I could handle those easily, but I always get nervous when he hints at it. How funny that he wants to be a girl. Because of boobs!!! Kids say the darndest things!
