Good news for today: The random thing that fell off my car yesterday was just the heat shield and the gas station said it wasn't a part that I needed. Yay for non-expensive car parts

oh yeah the lovely, useless, noisy heatshield. don't worry there should be another one. Both of my got loose and rattled like crazy whenever the car was idle -like when I was parked, or at a stop light- and it drove me nuts. Mechanic took it off no problem though, no charge. And never get things fixed when you get your oil changed -you've gotta know someone who knows how to change a bulb or light, it's always cheaper to get the part at the store and do it yourself or have a friend do it.

I know, but it was my whole headlight that was broken - the light didn't work in the headlight and the blinker side was all smashed from when Keith hit the deer in the Poconos. So I guess $100 for both wasn't too bad and at least now I don't have to worry about getting a ticket every time I drive at night. :)

Thanks, I think I slept a total of 5 minutes last night between worrying about the dentist and not finding my phone! :)

Yeah, he was helpful. Know what he gave me? "Take Advil." !?!? Luckily I still have the Tyelonol with codeine from the ER. :P

The librarians there are super nasty too. My sister told me there's another one even closer to our house so I might just start going there now.
