yeah, i knew jake was gonna be good, but heath was AMAZING.
going back to the 'aging' in the film, heath, i think, was the most believable as an older person just b/c he seemed to accumulate the most emotional weight. he just looked more worn down than everyone else.
It opens this friday and I plan to try and squeeze it in between school and work. I'm glad you liked it, because that means I have the opinion of someone credible and not just movie critics who are not always trustworthy. I've been anticipating this since the Toronto Film fest and it was so hyped up even then. Hype scare me. But I'm glad it was all you thought it would be. I'm tingling with anticipation!

I thought Annie Proulx's story was great, and quite a bit different from The Shipping News.
