I witnessed a spectacle tonight. Much like Gilliam's other film Brazil, it got weird and fell apart towards the end, but a stunning spectacle nonetheless. The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus was a wonderful concept. A story about an old broken man who only wants to share his imagination, but nobody in this modern world will listen.
