Chie's list of relations has gotten long enough that having it in the same post as her profile was starting to drive me crazy, so HERE IT HAS MOVED. o/
Boys
Koshirou Aizawa (Roppie): They're both sprinters on the track team. Chie likes Koshirou, but his quietness makes her feel uncomfortable. She thinks he doesn't like her and, since Chie's boyfriend is Koshirou's best friend, goes out of her way to talk to him in the hopes that this will change. Because of this, she tends to come across as extremely talkative around him to the point where it gets annoying. ALSO, she wants to kidnap his littlest sister.
Takahashi Fujimori (Mike): Friends. The two like recommending music to each other and are comfortable enough with each other to sit around having long conversations. Chie thinks the fact that he can sing in other languages is just about the coolest thing ever, even though she makes sure they don't talk about western or rock music specifically. Sometimes they sit together at school soccer games, since Taka can't play and Chie likes going to support her boyfriend.
Takeo Funaki (NPC): Since he moved back to Majima, Chie hasn't gotten to know him very well. He seems pretty intimidating and it's not like Chie lacks for friends, so she just kept her distance. Plus, he's dating Ayane, and it's not like Chie and Ayane are great friends or anything.
Yusuke Hamada (Stu): Chie likes Yusuke a lot - she thinks he's fun to be around and his cluelessness about dirty jokes, etc., is cute. The two met each other through Yuki, but since then they've formed their own friendship and sometimes watch baseball together.
Masaru Hirasawa (NPC): Too moody and kind of an asshole, but they get along okay. He works at FamilyMart with Chie and they often share shifts. After he and Aya broke up, Chie took Aya's side in the whole thing, but didn't really say anything to Masaru in an effort to keep their work relationship pleasant.
Etsurou Ikeda (Koy): Friends with a bit of a love/hate relationship. Chie likes Etsurou and they have personality traits in common (although she does think he's TOO lazy), but he's also one of the few people who manage to really piss her off, usually due to him calling her an attention whore. The two of them frequently get into fights and Chie has been known to stomp off vowing never to speak to him again, but of course a few hours later she feels guilty and goes to apologize, and everything just starts over again.
Koda Iwamari (Andi): Friends/track teammates. Chie knows that Koda has a crush on her and doesn't go out of her way to hang out with him alone because she doesn't want to encourage that kind of thing (of course, she doesn't go out of her way to make him stop, either :|). But she'll still spend time with him in groups of people and will hang with him alone if there's no one else around. Koda helped Chie out of a bad situation a few months ago and she's been a little nicer to him since then.
Yuu "Kaidan" Kido (Dan): Friends/track teammates. Chie likes Kaidan and they get along pretty well. Chie thinks his constant lying/exaggerating is weird, but it's not like he lies maliciously, so she sort of writes it off (on a side note, she also believes his claiming to be bisexual is a lie, and a stupid/dangerous one, but will never mention it - either the bisexuality or the lying). The only time he gets on her nerves is when he's jabbering away while she's trying to concentrate on something, but she's gotten pretty good at giving him the :| face when he does. He flirts with her, but whatever. It's just flirting.
Makoto Kokubo (Shaun): Casual friends since they were little, on account of their mothers' and older sisters' friendships. Chie thinks that Makoto is full of himself and a little too bitchy, but she likes him anyway. She has a tendency of getting caught up in their conversation, joining in on his shit talking, and then turning around and taking back what she said later.
Yukihiko Koyamada (Zarrah): Chie's best friend. They've known each other pretty much all their lives and get along really well. They mock and threaten each other, BUT IT'S DONE OUT OF FRIENDSHIP, OKAY. Chie trusts him more than she trusts almost anyone else - Yuki is one of the only people in the world who knows about her synesthesia. In her spare time, Chie enjoys pissing off Yuki's mother, shaving his head, and getting up to other retarded shenanigans with him.
Satoshi Nakata (NPC): They're not really friends, but sometimes Chie plays tennis with him. She usually loses, which is fine with her - Satoshi is often rude to her when he loses.
Ichirou Nishioka (NPC): Chie never really spoke to him until high school. She asked him to tutor her in math, ostensibly to improve her grade but really to get to know the "new" kid, and soon regretted it. Ichirou was rude, sarcastic and made a bunch of sexist comments re: her and Benji's relationship. She stopped showing up to his tutoring sessions after a few weeks and since then they haven't really interacted, but Chie's feelings are still hurt over the whole situation.
Minoru Nishikiori (Lili): Friends. Shiki was actually Chie's ~*~first real crush~*~ back in middle school, but it's something she never acted on and eventually got over. The two are known to be snuggly and affectionate with each other, although there's nothing more than friendship between them. He's someone Chie feels safe and happy around, and overall, she really likes him.
Teppei Okamura (NPC): They get along. The two don't have a lot in common, but they're both nice people, and Chie has been to the Okamura Farm several times during her life for various reasons, so they've always had a casually friendly relationship.
Takashi Saito (Stanley): Chie doesn't know much about him. He's pretty shy, and she only sees him during school hours and sometimes when she's on her way to Yuki's house. They don't talk other than the standard "Hey" stuff.
Kaito Seidou (Daviid): They're both close with Yuki, so they end up hanging out pretty regularly. On the surface, they're good friends, but underneath, their relationship has insecurity on both sides. Kaito sometimes jokes about stuff that Chie gets offended over, but she doesn't want to seem like a bitch, so she usually acts pissed off for a few seconds, then tries to backtrack and act like the jokes don't bother her. Which means that Kaito never knows what's going to actually make her mad, and Chie ends up privately sulking about things that he only said in jest. On a side note, their dads are friends! |D
Benjiro Takagi (Shia): Chie's boyfriend of almost two years.
Shirou Yasuda (NPC): Track teammates. They get along okay.
Girls
Mizuki "Zuki" Abe (Laura): Chie thinks Zuki is way too controlling and rather cruel, but she doesn't go out of her way to advertise her negative opinions about the girl. In fact, the only time they really interact is when Zuki decides to mess with Chie's head, usually by guilt-tripping her over something minor. Chie's sister used to date Zuki's stepbrother, Katsu, but after a tumultuous, unhealthy relationship the two called it quits a couple years ago.
Mizumi Akahori (Tomar): Friends/track teammates. Chie isn't particularly close to Mizumi because she's heard that the girl isn't very trustworthy, but they get along and Chie likes hanging out with her. So they're friends, but it's not a close, ~*~sharing secrets~*~ friendship. Chie has no idea Mizumi thinks she's "disabled."
Anna Arakida (NPC): Anna... kind of freaks Chie out, to be honest. She seems nice in conversation, but the grunge and illegal music and smoking/drinking make Chie wary. She doesn't dislike Anna, but they've never really spent enough time together to become friends, either.
Tsubaki Bando (NPC): She's... kind of retarded, isn't she? Sometimes Chie and one of her friends will make up some ridiculous over-the-top fight and then try to get Tsubaki to pick a winning side, an event which is always filled with hilarity.
Katsue Itsuma (David): Chie's next-door neighbor and frenemy. Chie is fond of Katsue but also finds it hilarious to upset her, something she does frequently. If asked, she'd say that Katsue is her friend, and when it comes down to it, the two do like each other, they're just... very different. :| Chie is also kind of horrified by Katsue's home life and her parents (especially her mom) and feels like she should encourage Katsue to get out and experience more, even if Katsue resists.
Tori Ito (Pea): Casual friends. Chie doesn't like Tori's bossiness or the way she exaggerates and makes things up, but otherwise she doesn't have a problem with the girl. They're friendly, but not super close.
Yurina Kaneko (Kylie): Chie is okay with Yurina, but she thinks the girl's aggressive feminism is silly and doesn't have a problem saying so. Yurina sucks up to Chie, another thing she says is silly, although inwardly she does kind of enjoy it.
Yori Kichida (NPC): Chie doesn't actively dislike her, but Yori is way too gossipy for her, so they don't talk very much.
Yurie Matsuoka (Gabby): Friends/track teammates. The two had always known each other, but only became friendly after they both joined the track team. Since then, Chie has made an effort to talk to and befriend Yurie, and they've gotten to know each other more through traveling to track meets, etc. Chie has no clue that Yurie steals or lies, so if the two go shopping on the mainland or whatever, everything is totally fine as far as she's concerned.
Aya Nishiyama (Rianne): Chie gets along with Aya for the most part - they have Makoto as a mutual friend. They are similar in some ways, very different in others, but overall they usually get along well. When Aya and Masaru were dating, Chie often saw her visiting him at FamilyMart, and when they broke up, she took Aya's side, so they've got a pretty decent friendship.
Etsu Oinuma (Rob II): They're friendly. Not super close, but they get along. Chie thinks Etsu is too blunt, bordering on rude, and the way she's a bitch to Yuki is pretty bizarre, but they have no personal quarrel or anything.
Masumi Okamoto (NPC): Boring. If Chie's in a mood, she might try to ruffle Masumi's feathers on purpose, but otherwise they don't really interact.
Hikaruko Onodera (NPC): Track teammates. The two generally get along okay. The way Hikaru whines and bitches about anything/anybody who makes her mad, plus the fact that she always wants things her way, is kind of tiring to Chie after a while. But the two do hang out occasionally, most often during some kind of track-related activity.
Erika Sekimoto (NPC): She's a nice girl, but sort of a crybaby. Chie thinks she should be less passive, but isn't invested enough in their relationship to say so. She doesn't like to see Erika getting bullied and will say something if she witnesses it, though.
Satsuki Takada (Rob): The two have always been friendly, just not very close. When Satsuki and Yuki broke up, Chie and Satsuki didn't really talk for a while, but eventually things went back to normal. Satsuki sometimes ends up guilting Chie over various things if she's in a bad mood, and Chie lives near Satsuki's (crazy bitch) grandmother, but other than that their relationship isn't anything special.
Kazuko Tsuji (Sophie): Friends/track teammates. Kazuko is one of the girls in the class Chie is closer to. She can usually get away with copying Kazuko's homework on the days she was too distracted or didn't feel like doing it. A few months ago, Kazuko invited Chie to a party with her on the mainland, an event with pretty much ended in disaster after Chie realized that synesthesia + thumping bass + tons of people = a horrible time for her. They've never discussed what happened the night of the party for various reasons.
Sora Tsurumi (NPC): Chie doesn't have anything against Sora on a personal level because the girl is generally friendly and pleasant in conversation, but whenever Sora starts to freak out about something minor or throw one of her infamous tantrums, Chie tries to make herself scarce. She thinks that Sora is majorly screwed up and needs some help, but she doesn't want to pry into someone else's business, so she just lets it go.
Ayane Yokoyama (Daviiid): The two always got along fine, even though they were never great friends. About a year ago, Chie had a seizure at school and Ayane tried to help her, which made Chie really defensive and annoyed. The two have been sort of awkward with each other ever since. Chie knows she overreacted and Ayane didn't really do anything wrong, but by this point in time she feels like it's too late to fix any of the awkwardness the two have with each other.
Haruka Yoshida (Josh): Casual acquaintances. They don't have enough in common to be close friends, so while Chie likes Haruka and is friendly toward her, their conversations tend to lose momentum after a while. However, they have mutual friends, so Chie always tries to spare a few minutes and say hey to Haruka if they see each other in town.
