Quinn thought about it, she really did, but she decided not to go home.

Mostly -- though she wouldn't admit it -- it was about not being brave enough to go home and see what was gone. It was easier to live in denial when she was at least a little ignorant.

Bruce was feeling a little twitchy. He'd spent a week preparing for absolutely anything he could think of, but whatever would eventually come hadn't actually come yet. It was annoying. And after a week, he really just needed to talk to somebody to help keep him sane. Because yes, he still had some issues with being patient. He'd have to get better with that eventually.

Anyway, he saw that Quinn's door was cracked, so he knocked and asked, "Quinn?"

"Come in," Quinn called. she could deal with having someone to talk to who didn't massively annoy her. It might help keep the headache at bay.

Quinn smiled. "Yeah, I can't deal with going home and finding out that Lima is now right on the coast or something. At least here everybody else knows bizarre things are happening. It's slightly less horrifying."

And then there was a knock. And a guy on the other side of the door whose only reason for not flat-out barging in was that he was concerned she might not be fully dressed.
