Oh my, Allen was one of my favorite players! I can't believe he's not going to be and red in anymore. But...i think we got a lot for him. 17th first round pick, 2 3rd rounders and swap of 6th rounder. 13 picks in the draft this season, we are really starting fresh and better get some good darn players!!

I'm torn on this. I liked Allen. That's not why I would think we needed to keep him though. He was the best player we had on D. Yeah, if we were going to trade him, now was the time, and we did get a LOT for him, but how often do you get that type of player? He was almost as good as 58. We NEVER would have traded him.

I guess I'm just concerned that we might lose the heart of our D again, and if that happens now, our O can't make up for it like they did under Vermeil.

Well, lets see what happens tomorrow I guess. Maybe we can snag a few decent players to help even this team out.
