Well there a lot of things I can talk about in Chiefs land. Priest Holmes retiring, the emergence of Kobe Smith, the awesome year Allen is having, but the thing that’s really on my mind is the fact we are officially eliminated from the playoffs race

Personally, I prefer we tank the season as much as possible, 5-11 is ok. I hope we finish with a top ten pick. Couples with picks from the Dolphins, St. Louis, and the Bucs, we could have a potentially amazing draft haul.I don't want to be like the broncos, who refuse to rebuild every single year and just sacrifice one season, and find themselves getting progressively worse.

Well we might not have to tank the season on purpose. We haven't won in Denver in years, the Titians are good, and Detroit can play when they want to. The Jets, we are better than them, we should win that. I see us going 5-11 or 6-10, which will land us a top ten, pick or at least 11th or 12th pick. I do not believe in losing on purpose though.

Players don't believe in that either. I don't think players like Allen, Gonzalez, Bowe, and Brodie who is trying to prove he can be our QB of the future will not show up to play! I would be even more disappointed if I knew a team just gave up on winning!

Also winning carries over into the next season. The packers last year had a chance to go 4-12, well they won out, won 4 straight, got to 8-8 and kept on winning this year till the reached 10-0. In other words, they won 14 games straight! Remember in 02...we won out, got to 8-8...it carried over into 03 and we started the season 9-0. There are benefits to winning, the draft and off season will take care of itself...
