gerroff mah roof!!

Chips and sawdust everywhere. Weird humming noises from the roof. Strange men's voices really close to my window (and I'm on the second floor). We have tree-cutters and roofers buzzing everywhere around our house. I guess our landlord felt a fit of activity and invited everyone over this week. The now very-dead tree is getting more stubby every day

I can completely relate with you, we had people renovating the apartments above, below, beside and across from our own for almost two consecutive years! To this day, the sounds of hammers and drills in the morning still give me nightmares.
