So I thought about playing only 16 lands, thought about playing 17/41, but went with 17/40 in the end - I also thought about the Lapse of Certainty over the Dragon Fodder but decided that the fodder was good since I was low on 2-drops and I had the Glory of Warfare, and Lapse was bad because I was low on two drops and had the Enlisted Wurm.

Round 1:
Game 1: I've got a mulligan and he's got a fast start with Steward of Valeron into Gloryscale Viashino followed by Rhox Brute, while all I've got is a Sighted-caste Sorcerer and a Rhox Charger. He crystalizes the Charger and bashes in, I chump the 6/6 and he's got a post combat Cylian Elf. I play Rhox Meditant and ship the turn and he comes in with all the men - Quasali Ambusher jumps into play and I eat his two 2/2s and fall to 3, and then he plays a post combat Mosstodon. I play Dragon Fodder and ship it back, and here he makes a play that I think is wrong and doesn't attack. If he does, my two 1/1s chump his 3/3 and his 4/4 and my 2/3 and 2/4 gang up on his Mosstodon, which would have left him with a 3/3 and a 4/4 to my 2/3 - but he doesn't attack, instead just playing Aerie Mystics and saying go. I've got Aven Trailblazer and a Path to Exile on the Mosstodon before he can give it shroud, and then I've got Enlisted Wurm into Band Sojourners and Thornling while he continues to have nothing. Gets there.

Game 2: I open with Sighted-caste Sorceror into Rhox Charger while he's got Court Archers into Quenchable Fire into Steward of Valeron + cycled Naya Sojourners. His Colossal Might drops me to 3 but I've again got Enlisted Wurm into a 4-drop (Rhox Brute) followed by a 5-drop (Beacon Behemoth) which is good enough to earn the concession.

Round 2:
Game 1: He opens with Vedalkan Outlander, Behemoth Sledge, equip, and then Ethersworn Adjudicator. I counter with Rhox Meditant drawwing a card off my Borderpost, Path to Exile on the Adjudicator and a Thornling. My Deadshot Minotaur snipes an Esperzoa but when Sharuum comes into play, brings back the 'zoa and picks up the Sledge its off to game 2.

Game 2: My starting grip boasts 5 Forests, Wildfield Borderpost and a Bant Sojourners, and I reluctantly cash that bad-boy back in for a fresh six. 6 spells then 5 spells and then I'm looking at a 4-carder. Unsuprisingly I don't do anything and die to a bunch of 2/2s and 3/3s.

Welp. :-/
