Carpool Information
sylithrandir and I are able to take 3 guests. We are located in Crystal Lake. There is the possibility that you can take the Metra to Crystal Lake and we can pick you up from there. Weekend passes should be $5.
We need more volunteer drivers! If you are able and willing to drive, please comment with the location from which you will be leaving and how many extra people can fit in your car.
If you need a ride, please comment with the location from which you will need to be picked up. If several people can meet in one local spot and wait for their ride, it might help out the driver a bit.
Everyone pitches in for gas!!
RSVP
Deadline: Saturday, October 4.
I need a definite number by this date so that I can reserve a table at the chosen restaurant, and possibly schedule a tour with the garden.
Please include in your RSVP:
~ If you need a ride or are willing to drive others, or if you have an alternative means of getting there
~ Which restaurant you prefer to eat at. JMK Nippon serves Japanese cuisine; Old Chicago serves pasta, pizza, and burgers (
here is their menu). I have eaten at both and both are delicious, but JMK Nippon is probably more expensive. According to Google, both are exactly the same distance from Anderson Gardens....
Send to: rokulie -at- gmail -dot- com. I am going to give you my phone number, so an LJ comment is not enough (unless you already know it).
Even though it's a bit of a trip for those in the city, I hope you can make it! I've always wanted to get you guys in Chicago to come out to this place!
Please don't hesitate to ask questions or make suggestions!
