ACEN Lolita Panels? Meet-ups? Other?

Anyone signed up for panels yet?
Has anyone gotten a seal of approval for their panels?

If so I would like to offer a helping hand and such.

Are there any games or Meet and greets meet-ups happening on any of those days?

So far nothing has been planned for meet-ups but it was expressed last year that Friday evening would be a better day for a meet-up (swap or otherwise) I'm just wondering where we should hold it? Someone's room is kinda out of the question due to the fact that there are so many of us! I was thinking maybe in the lobby/bar area of the embassy suites?

I thought last year the problem was that we held it at a hotel area and they wanted us to pay in order distribute merchandise.

That was the problem yes but the Hyatt is also sticklers about outside food and with a group as large as ours I don't know if they'd give is the cease and desist again. When we were by the escalaters by the dealers room (not the hyatt) it was fine but there's also no seating there. People could bring blankets again?

I would bring all my picnic blankets and such I have about 5. ^_^

Facebook page?...is there a FB group for Acen lolita?

I applied for a "panel" to do a lolita fashion show since Khaotic Kouture will be only brand shows this year, but I haven't heard back yet. I'll be posting about it looking for designers and models once I get word that we are approved. :)

No, :p but I asked girls in the Chicago Lolita FB page any news updates.

I wish there was an ACEN facebook page I saw that they put one up a few weeks before the con started, but Khaoctic Kouture put a page up months before the con last year. (Sadly no Khaoctic Kouture fashion show this year. :(

i just learned about AP and LM.C so i have to go this year even tough i wasn't planning on it. i'd also really like to know if anything is going on, it would be sad if there were no loli panels at all.

i sort of want to play the calling card game again. i think i'm a smidgen less shy compared to the last time.

I just posted on Egl about a meetup because I wasn't sure if somebody had started the planning already. I sadly did not get to go last year due to schedules etc. I think friday would be a good day and agree that in the con center by the escalators is better because Hyatt can't give us trouble there.

Now I see though that Acen has a gathering schedule with a lolita meet placed on it. Which I think ( and yes please correct me if I am wrong, id hate to be sharing wrong information) came from the Chiloli lovelies on their group. Yay meetup!

so the meetup is in the garden area? Does this have anything to do with the Lolita Fashion Show - Independent Designers Showcase that was posted on Khaotic Kouture's page? (I read that Khaotic Kouture will not be doing a fashion show)
