I have plans for a Summer Swap Meet and would like to hold it in a suburban area with a nice park or at my house again (I don't know which would be more convenient for everyone)
Is it alright with everyone if I set the date for the swap on the day of International Lolita Day?

international lolita day, location

I don't mind if you hold it on that day~ (Although I do wish it were on a day when Jola could join us!)

As for location, I'd prefer if it were held at your house if only so we're on private property. As much as suburban park areas can be very beautiful, I don't want to run afoul of needing permits or get interrupted by passers-by who think they can join in, take things, or buy from us.

As far as I know suburban parks don't need permits. :/ Though we did run into problems with kids especially at the Easter Meet-up a few years ago.

I would be concerned with needing a permit because we're buying and selling goods, not just for gathering around. I don't think we should technically be eligible for one, but since we are lolita we really stand out and I worry it could seem like we're throwing an impromptu "craft fair" type event.

That does sound better to hold it at my house and other passers-by would be a bit hard to explain to them.

I'm really excited for a second one! Whenever you would like to throw it, awesome! It would be really nice if Jola could come though...
I would offer my parents house as space, but it's in the city in a less than awesome neighborhood, so I think your house is probably best.
