Well, the guy IS supposed to be a parody, so partly, yes. But the idea that he should have Mario clothes actually comes from Silvy, so I can't take any of the honor/blame for that one. ;-) Don't think he's got anything in common with Mario apart from the job, though.

Well, it was the first thing that popped up in my mind when reading about it and seeing the picture in Silvy's journal. :-) And now I can't get it out. :-P Sorry. :-D

I bet you'll have more stories to tell about these poor guys, though. ;-D
