This is a Relationship post for the character Miyabi/Miya from the game Okami.
This post is still under heavy construction and most likely will be for some time. Because of that - and my pension for silliness - please don't take the character quotes too seriously right now. ...Or anything I say here, for that matter. |D;;

Amaterasu is, quite literally, Miyabi's goddess in every right.
Even so, Miyabi has seen how good a friend and companion the wolf can be, and her love and adoration for Amaterasu just grew from divine respect to a deep bond of friendship. She will forever be Mother Amaterasu to the girl, yes, but Miyabi also fondly refers to her with Issun's given nickname as well - Ammy. The name just shows how her views of he wolf changed over time. They are not just goddess and devout servant and messenger, but best friends.
Even with the lupine goddess returned back to Nippon, Miyabi continues to make absolutely sure no one forgets her time in Luceti by painting her portrait as often as she can. It's not just her job and duty anymore, but a high honor and thanks for the good times and memories they shared together.

Meeting another person from Nippon never really occurred to Miyabi. She never expected anyone else to come, or at least hoped they wouldn't Of course, when she met Kushi, Miyabi was surprised and glad to have someone to talk to about home. She knows Issun, too, so Miyabi trusts Kushi pretty well. Plus, she's just a very kind, warmhearted person.
Opinion: Friend.

Miyabi likes Anise. They haven't talked in some time, but she's fond of her. Anise is sweet, kind, and equally as rough and tough as the little poncle. She's not afraid to speak out and show people just how bold and brazen she is, and this is a quality Miyabi respects, since it's one they share.
Opinion: Acquaintance, friend.

"Really? The power over Creation? Wow! So you might be able to have that much power?"
Salt is Miyabi's housemate. She's much smaller than the Sun Fairy, but she felt and still feels extremely close to him, being such a small member of Luceti. Salt was also the first person to invite her to live with him, something Miyabi still appreciates to this day. The fact that he's a Sun fairy, and can raise the sun with his magical trumpet, is something Miyabi is amazed by. She thinks his power is similar to Amaterasu's and even a Celestial Envoy's. She respects him, and likes being in his company to enjoy his music and his companionship.
Opinion: Housemate, precious friend.

Asch and Miyabi first met during the blizzard long ago. Asch had said he knew Amaterasu, and this immediately got Miyabi talking about her. At first, she had thought Asch to be a strange and slightly frightening person, and only really liked him because he knew her goddess, and they wolf supposedly liked him very much.
After some time, however, Miyabi saw past Asch's rough exterior and began to realize how kind and good a person he really can be, if one looks hard enough. During another experiment, when the sun was eclipsed, and Amaterasu was weakened to the point of almost death, Asch aided her and Miyabi's respect for him grew in spades, only blossoming more and more from then on.
Asch still intimidates and frustrates her sometimes with his less than agreeable personality, so she really has to take care in what she says and does around him at times, but it's those times where she can really let loose and truly enjoy his company with no strings attached that make her adore Asch greatly. He's become quite dear to Miyabi, and she's made it her own personal goal to try and get him to actually smile for her. Even just once.

Sanji is extremely precious to Miyabi. They first met months ago when she asked how to use the kitchen appliances and he showed her. He said nothing about her height, and treated her like a lady, something Miyabi doesn't see much. That instantly got him an A rating in her book. Plus, he was genuinely kind and a good person. Their relationship only built as time passed in Luceti. Sanji is the first person Miyabi called 'brother', and actually meant it literally and not as a sign of respect. As far as she's concerned, the chef is now part of her ever growing family here in Luceti. Sanji is also someone Miyabi cares for deeply, and would fight tooth and nail to protect, though it's those quiet moments together she enjoys most. One day she hopes they can cook a meal together. Vegetarian, of course!

Miyabi adores Brook. He's kind, sweet, and has a love for tea that rivals even her own! The two first met when he told her he'd been looking for her with a group of people, and they conversed. During that conversation, Miya learned Brook was one of Sanji's crewmates, and her like of him instantly grew. Nowadays, Miyabi and Brook are good friends, and she loves to hear him play music on his violin, which helps relax her greatly and makes her think of home. Brook has definitely earned a place in Miyabi's heart as a part of her "pirate family".

Though their first meeting was more than a little turbulent, as the two talked, Miya came to like Luke more and more to the point where she now adores him indefinitely. He’s like a kinder version of Asch - a trait that boggles her to this very day. She doesn’t understand why the two look so similar, yet act so different, but it doesn’t matter much to her. Luke is Luke and Asch is Asch, even if she mixes up the two sometimes.
Her affection towards the young man seemed to only increase during one of the experiments, where he was turned into a child and she found him, lost and scared. Though naturally protective and nurturing towards those she likes, and even though she doesn’t know Luke too well yet, Miya’s already positive attitude towards Luke only intensified. She cared for him, played with him, and comforted him when he cried, and though they’re normal now, those memories, and the desire to care for and protect her friend remained, stronger than ever.

Miyabi hasn't talked too much to Luffy, but she really likes him. He's fun loving, laid back, and can make her laugh until she cries. She had a great time making fun of his crewmates by impersonating them with Luffy, and thinks he's a great person. He also cares for his friends, and does so much to try and keep them safe that Miyabi holds him to quite a high regard for his resolve and his strength.
Opinion: Friend, kazoku.

Miyabi and Nami met late, and under rather bitter circumstances, but eachother's company managed to really cheer the little painter right up. Learning Nami was a Straw Hat only made Miyabi perk right up and instantly consider Nami a friend. This friendship has blossomed to the point where Nami has become like a big sister of sorts to Miyabi. Whether the title of "big sister" is literal or a term of respect is unknown, but Miyabi does adore Nami's company very much. She's also someone who seems to be extremely strong deep down, and this is a trait that Miyabi respects.
