[One of those rare written responses from the Slayer. Usually, she neglects to reply by writing. Usually, she's a lot happier to just blurt out her answers whether the original message was written, spoken, whatever. But this time? Oh, she's mixing it up a bit. What else is a bed-confined girl to do?]

Snowed in? That happens?

[The words do come slowly. After all, her right side is the injured one.]

[So rare in fact are the Slayer's written responses that Albert may not know it's in fact her responding. That is, if she isn't projecting her image through the journal, too.]

It has not happened yet, no. But we should always be wary when the Malnosso can change the weather on a whim.

[Oh, there's definite projection going on. The journal, propped on her knees in a way Doctor McCoy would doubtless tell her was not conducive to healing, is facing her--looking composed but tinged with a bit of exhaustion.]

What if it happens? Is it enough of a worry to need a contingency plan?

[She's...unsurprisingly less wordy and run-off-at-the-mouth when she writes. Saves effort.]

Mass village contingency plans have crossed my mind, and I have mentioned warnings a few times, but I have left the matter to individuals' discretion.

[Sometimes he likes to have some faith in humanity.]

Those who don't normally live within the village, and any new arrivals, would be most at risk.

That is quite obvious. I was hoping for more specific measurements -- though that may vary throughout the area.

You are in one of the less-traveled areas of the village? Or closer to the plaza?

Will clearing the snow away from the paths and roads everyday help? Especially after it snows?

It helps, yes. Some residents clear the paths around their houses, but the main roads would be the priorities after heavy snow.

I can do those around Community Building #3.

A good idea. Perhaps you can coordinate with others in your building as well.

[This would be written... if it were an intentional response. Caesar's thinking out loud. Because he's obnoxious like that.]

Bored? Or something else...?

[That will get a raised brow from Albert. And he'll reply in voice, since that would be the best way to get Caesar's attention.]

Should I be immune to boredom?

Huh? [Oops. Good thing that was all he said, or this could have been a bit awkward.] No, no, I'm sure that you and boredom have a direct correlation. But something seems off today.

[Albert snorts dismissively.] Perhaps I should be the one wondering if you are "bored or something else."

[Today Lilly had planned to to to the bar because of that visit with Guy and everything, but rather than ice cream or iced tea, she sees something she would enjoy more. She seats herself across from Albert and slams her fist on the table.]

I don't like you.

[Albert might have blinked at the sight of Lilly approaching, but he doesn't startle or react strongly to the young woman sitting across from him.]

You've made that quite obvious, Miss Pendragon. [He takes a sip of his drink.]

[She's not going to budge from this seat now.]

Well I think it needed to be said.

chikaidestroyer January 8 2010, 16:15:05 UTC
Would there be any particular reason for you to feel that need? [His tone is dry.]
