[written]

How is everyone doing? It appears there are no aftershocks to speak of, but the ground has worn away since the initial earthquake. The rivers have overflowed in some areas, eroding the riversides.

The Blue Rogues are organized to rescue people. I'm sure there are others who have pulled together to help out and salvage homes; let me know ( Read more... )

I can scout. [He doesn't like this much -- he's too much of a captain to really take orders well, but he'll do what needs done. Even if it's offering his services to someone he doesn't know. It's for the good of everyone here, after all.]

Thank you. After what has happened in the past, we need to be cautious about the barrier's condition. [It's strange how it's important for the barrier, which keeps them prisoners, to remain in working order. But with the village in tatters, they can't afford to run the risk of another hybrid outbreak or "cultist" infiltration.]

I am Albert Silverberg. May I have your name?

I'll take your word for it. I wasn't here.

Hitsugaya. Just tell me where you need me to take a look.

Hitsugaya. Any expanse of the barrier that you can reasonably search will do; ideally, I would like everything from the ground level up to the top of the barrier checked. If you know anyone who can search by air, that would be helpful.

C6 is stable and for the most part undamaged.

I'd help with the dig, but I'm already at the barracks.

...and I can hunt for meat, a6t any rate, when McCoy doesn't need me.

Community building 6. Noted. Do you know if anyone is organizing space for people to camp there?

Your offer is also noted, Derek. Salvaging what food survived in refrigerators and the stores would be preferable before we start into the wildlife.

There were only a few people living there to being with, so I doubt it. And four of us moved out last week.

I'll help with that, although it might be best to at least see what can be caught. The sooner we bolster the supplies, the less trouble we'll have with being short of food. And if we wait until the situation is dire, we might be out of luck finding anything that hasn't already fled the area.

Very well. I will see if anyone will volunteer to look over the building.

No one is suggesting we wait until the situation is dire. Do you have the supplies to prepare any caught animals so they won't rot? That is my only concern.

There's still a lot of rescue work to be done, but I'll get in contact with Sonic. He'll be our best bet at finding out if anything's wrong with the barrier quickly.

I'll dispatch him out there as soon as I find him.

As soon as you find him? Is he accounted for, or still missing?

Oh, he's accounted for. He's just helping with digging at a different location. Just dunno if he's got his journal right on him at any given time.

All right. Let him know to be especially attentive in the desert; that is where we had a barrier breach last year.

[Between rescuing the victims of the earthquake, saving Batman from demons, and now digging for John, it's been a busy time for Wonder Woman.]

The Justice League is doing everything it can in this situation. Feel free to inform the residents that we're here to help.

[And on the matter of that emergency digging-] I'm part of the group who's looking for John, if that's what you're referring to.

I will make a note that the Justice League is there for assistance. Thank you.

[And a pause.] Yes, that is what I am referring to. Would you be willing to meet to discuss those plans?

It's what we do.

Of course. Do you have a particular destination in mind?

I am situated near the barracks at the moment. [Because of Raine.] If you have somewhere else you would like to meet, let me know.

There are plenty watching my 'child'. I'll do what I can from above. I'm... too powerful at the moment. I'd only cause more problems otherwise.

["Too powerful." Well, that's certainly a new one.]

If you could remain on watch for any barrier breaches, that would certainly be helpful.

[Well, when you could easily level the city, and you couldn't yesterday, that'd be a problem.]

About the barrier actually... **Though she gets a somewhat familiar vibe talking to him for the first time.**

[It had been a long time since they had spoken, and even then it was only in the passing while he issued orders and positions.]

Yes?
