Ben, I am a reader of the magazine psychology today, and i read an article about dreams. It said that the purpose of a dream does the same thing for your brain and saturday morning cartoons do for children. This is because your brain has this drive to go out into the would and to DO stuff, to accomplish things. Your brain actually wishes to never sleep, and to continue going out into the world and DOING things. But, parts of your brain need sleep and need to recharge. So, when you sleep, you have dreams, to trick your mind into thinking you are going out into the real world and accomplishing things, or doing something. I agree with this, and think that you dreams reflect things you are worried about or preocupied with. Perhaps things your subconscience knows that your conscience is un aware of. So, that is the purpose of dreams. Love, Chelsea
Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea... are you really going to believe that as if it is a fact? The only true fact is that there are no facts. Science is hypothesis. Science is only what society makes of it. Just look at how science changes based on popular belief. Up until Darwinism, it was creationism was popular belief, but now its pretty much an even split. the article you read in psycology today is a theory, nothing else. Mine is also a theory. You can choose to believe either one, but just remember... niether one is fact.
Oh yeah, i dont believe my theory either, I just wish.
