If smacking someone would work, I would have done plenty of smacking already. Alas, we were told that all we can do is wait for them to fix the error.
Though I don't mind if you walk across the ocean to come here. I won't have to build the raft then. Watch out for Kraken.
Also, you sound like you were still high on your warm, scholarly feelings when you wrote that comment ;p Good to hear that you getting out of a funk anyway, now keep that fire burning.
I just don't have luck with British internet :( We called them again, and they told us that it's an error on their servers which they're fixing and there's nothing we can do except wait.
I'm using my uni computers to get stuff done, which means having to rethink my daily schedule and all... sigh, I'm mainly thinking "Why us?" especially since other people I know aren't having any problems.
I'm sorry. Dunno why it's you but try not to feel victimized - these things are quite random. A couple of years ago, I couldn't access my email account for more than a month and it was a ghastly big headache (even though I do have a work one I can use) but now I never give it a thought (cos everything's working OK) except when someone I know has problems and then I feel their pain
( ... )
I don't want to but aaahhhh it's just rather frustrating. You know, I never think too much about it when everything's working fine but once page errors start showing up, everything feels so screwed up.
Nah, I won't be getting a discount since the first three month on this service is free anyway. It's just troublesome because all my job apps are online, so I can't work on them.
Ah, thanks! Mmm, there are a few people on my flist who repost news and stuff, so I think I'm good for now. I think I saw the post with the scans of that magazine, it looks pretty good! I haven't downloaded it yet though. I think Royal Mail will be having more strikes, I hope it doesn't affect your treasure!
I'm working on the pics! And I would love to see your pics of Cornwall since I plan to go there someday soon~
Poor you, Chai. So excuse me but, can I ask if you are an Asian or not? And you are now an intern in UK? Just because I first came for your translation work, and so I know nothing about you, but since I friend you, I want to know more ^-^ Suddenly I think that your dad uses Facebook maybe because he want to be more connected to you? It's just me guessing that since I know nothing about your situation, so if it's a mistake just pass it, ok? And yeah, about the internet problem, it's disgusting when something like this happen, especially when it come back again and again! I hope it'll be fine soon!
Heyo~ Yeap, I'm Asian and I'm currently studying in the UK. Er, I hope you aren't waiting for me to post more translations, because I haven't been doing any for some time. I mainly post pictures and random updates on my life. Haha, I have no idea why my dad suddenly joined Facebook, he's not the type to go for all this social networking sites and all. I guess you can say he's a bit old-fashioned. I dunno, I found it really weird. But I don't use my facebook much anyway.
My internet seems to be working alright now /cross fingers I haven't had much luck with the internet here, last year my internet went down around Christmas and was only fixed a couple of months after that.
That must be a disaster ^^ Even me, a person with not much time for the Internet and blogging, can imagine how terrible it is when having problem like that. It's really disgusting when I have to do all my work in the library ^^
Since u don't f-lock your translation post, I have no reason to add friend you just to wait for your new translations ^^ Yeah, and I can see how random your posts are ^^ But just feel free, don't think that I'm looking forward to something from you, I like random posts about life and I'm intending to post this kind of things on my lj also, when I have time. I also want a facebook page since it's easy to update it via Nokia phones in my country, easier than other blogpage, but I'm afraid that a lj page is already too much for a lazy-blogger like me. ^^
I go online a lot everyday, so it's really inconvenient when I can't use the internet at home. Well, it's working fine for now, so I'm happy for that.
Ahahaha, I don't really post regularly. Sometimes I feel like writing a lot and I'll post every other day. Sometimes I don't post for weeks. Well, if you don't mind my random posts on your flist, then we're good :). For me facebook is more for keeping up with my friends and relatives... but somehow I just can't get the hang of updating there. And yeah, keeping a LJ is already enough for me too.
