Gackt's YFC live in bullet points.

- It started at around 7.45 pm and ended at around 9.20 pm. Shorter than I expected, but it was mostly energetic songs anyway. Lots of headbanging and screaming and jumping.

- Introduction was pretty LOL. "Attention! This is Gackt's secretary speaking."

- I met a really nice girl from France who was also there alone.

- The moment he appeared on stage is breathtaking. He's real! And he's actually there right in front of me. Okay, maybe about 4-5 metres in front of me. I got there a little late and I didn't want to get squashed at the front so I was standing pretty back.

- Also breathtaking is the way the crowd just surged forward when he appeared. There was actually about 1m of clear space in front of me for about 5 seconds before the crowd surged right back.

- Freaking tall people :| Luckily he was standing on a raised part most of the time so I could see.

- I don't remember the set list hahaha. My mind is still buzzing. I didn't check out the set list from the other YFC lives so I didn't know what he was going to sing.

- But there was Lu:na! The one song I really really wanted to see him perform live. And he didn't disappoint! There was also a strip tease session during Lu:na. The tie was the first to go, then the buttons on his shirt, then the shirt itself. People standing in the middle, a little on his right, about 2-3m from the stage had the best chance of grabbing stuff when he threw them.

- That was followed by Kimi ga matteiru kara. Which is appropriate because damn, we have been waiting for a very long time.

- After that, Mind Forest! IN ENGLISH. Took me awhile to realise that he was singing it in English, I caught the words 'tragedy' and 'eternity' LOL. That said, his English is actually fairly decent. No really.

- Gackt is really good at posing. I bet they arranged the lighting to suit his poses.

- I think he played the drums for a short while at one point. Not sure, because I couldn't see a damn thing.

- He talked a bit in English, calling us brothers and sisters and saying that we are all one family. "You will never be alone because I will always be with you." (Equal parts LOL and awww.)

- I wonder if during the call and response at the beginning, when he called 'BROTHERS!' and then 'SISTERS!', was he expecting the guys to respond to brother and the girls to respond to sister. 'cause everyone was just responding to everything he said.

- A bunch of people got him a UK flag with his name printed in the middle and messages written all over it. Chacha and YOU held it open in front of him (they took awhile to hold it the right way up until YOU took charge, haha). That was pretty sweet!

- There was quite a lot of photography going on. I did see one person get stopped by a staff but I bet plenty of people got away with pictures. I was tempted to snap a few myself.

- At one point, the crowd was shouting for Vanilla. He didn't sing it though.

- There were a couple of staff walking (squeezing) around with handheld camcorders. I wonder if they'll release a DVD for the European tour? I would love to get a copy if they do, but handheld camcorders probably result in really shaky footage.

- He said, "I promise. I. Will be BACK!"
Irrelevant to me but that's really good news.

- At the end, after a long screaming session, Gackt said, "Amazing."
I completely agree ♥

Right, I've got a 4am train to catch and I haven't finish packing. No internet for the next week or so.
