[Hey there, Mayfield.  On Sunday afternoon, you will be treated to the sight of Jecht angrily storming down the sidewalk toward the house of A CERTAIN VAMPIRE.  He's clearly pretty pissed off, striding briskly down the street as Seychelles hangs pathetically off his leg, trying and failing at stopping him.  She's more or less just being dragged

[Nabooru decided that the garden needed work. Of course Conrad had done a great job watering the flower beds and the shrubs and such, but the front yard was looking a little...out of control. She dawned a large floppy yellow hat, a pink apron, a pink blouse she had altered into what looked like a bikini top and the smallest light blue shorts she could muster. She was trimming away at some large shrubs toward the end of the driveway when she noticed Ject marching down the sidewalk. Well there was an awfully angry fellow. She still trimmed, but her eyes were fixed on the man. She only hoped that this didn't have anything to do with Conrad.]

[Jecht doesn't have any business with Nabooru, so he doesn't pay her much mind as he strides past her on his way up to the front door of their house. Grumbling and glancing behind him, he snaps back at Seychelles.]

"I'm just gonna talk to him. Make him understand a few things."

[Of course, his expression and body language suggest he's planning to do far more than just talking.]

If you were just gonna talk to him, we can do that on the phone!

[She is trying to tug backwards on his arm with all her might. But it looks as if he doesn't even feel her efforts.]

[Nabooru stands up and strides forward]

Excuse me? [she walks up and stands in front of Ject] Can I help you? [What the hell did Conrad do now]

*Conrad sighs as he looks down at his bag of shopping supplies. Luckily it was the afternoon and the sun was going down. It didn't bother him too much, but he still wore a heavy coat and gloves. Conrad felt rather abundant with energy today, until it suuuuuddenly disappeared from his face as he watches Jecht charging down one of the streets, with Seychelles right behind. That could only mean one thing.

In an almost flawless movement, Conrad spins on his heels, whistling, and walks the OPPOSITE WAY OF THEM, hoping that the man would not recognize him from behind.*

[Jecht's voice rings out loud and clear at Conrad's back.]

[Her voice becomes slightly more desperate.]

Leave him alone! He didn't do anything wrong!

*Conrad flinches at Jecht's voice and pretends not to notice until he hears Seychelles and turns around suddenly, glaring at Jecht as he sets down his bag... He stands his ground, with shakey limbs. Oh god this guy was going to kill him but Seychelles was right there..*

[Zevran...stares, briefly. He was probably going to visit Conrad, but suddenly this - whatever 'this' is - takes precedence. He recognizes Seychelles, after all, and he chatted with Jecht once too.] Have I walked in late on something?

Nope. Nothing's wrong. Just takin' care of some personal business.

[She's relieved to see someone reasonable.]

He thinks that Conrad is a danger to me. He won't listen to anything I say!

[Okay, no offense to you, Conrad, but at the idea of him being dangerous, Zevran just bursts out in disbelieving laughter.] Really? Conrad? I saw him stalking a rabbit the other day and I don't think even it was in danger. [He grins at Jecht.] I assure you, my friend, the man is harmless. Too timid for his own good, even.
