I can understand you.

I know that I would love to travel from city to city this summer - reading my poetry in poetry cafe's and open mic nights all around the country, drinking beers outside an old tavern and enjoying the sparkle of a good cigar. I'd love to smell the Redwoods again and feel the Pacific sand fill in the spaces between my toes. I would like to participate in the intensive Clown Workshop at Dell'arte this summer and the one Avner Eisenberg is teaching in the fall. yes, I would like to create an original piece of theatre with a group of devoted theatre artists and travel with it. But alas.

I've very little money and no car. And no home that I can call my own. So instead i think i'll find employment and start saving money before the winter comes again. Because there is nothing colder nor emptier than walking sixty miles through the month of February.

I can understand you.

Hey ~ It's going to be 80 degrees on Thursday. And i can't wait!

Hey thanks for the comment. Ruts happen you know. Some days it rains. Some days the sun shines bright. Some days are simply better than others. When i wrote that, I was having a bad day. Feels weird to read it now because it's so far beyond how I'm feeling today, which is content. I like that Charles Bukowski quote:

What matters most is how well you walk through the fire.

Amen. Take care of you, kat. Thanks again for the encouragement.
