Sov hadn't brought a lot of things with them to Fandom, but they had accumulated a few carefully repaired radios and one CD player that they intended to take home. So, that required to bags. All in all, packing didn't take that long.

They had recieved a letter from home on Wednesday, and would catch a portal back to Gethen early the next morning.

Elphaba had been struck yesterday with the desire to check in on Sov while she was stuck at Turtle and Canary yesterday.

She peeked her head into Sov's room and smiled as she knocked on the open door.

"I trust I'm not interrupting?" she asked.

Sov looked up. "Hi, Elphaba! No, you're not! I've just finished packing."

"Packing?" Elphaba said. "Are you going to Kaeleer as well?"

She smiled, not knowing she was mistaken. She liked the idea of getting to know Sov a bit better over the course of the trip.

Sov shook their head. "No," they said. "I'm going home. For good."

And although they wanted to go home, Sov also would have liked to get to know Elphaba better.
