What happened?

My company is run by assholes who don't give two shits about us. It's a long story but they keep adding more restrictions, take away benefits and expect us to smile and say thank you while they keep us firming pressed under their thumb. I'm sick of it. No one should be treated the way we are treated. I'm sick of it and have decided to move on.

If it makes ya feel any better, I don't have a job either now (cause I just moved back to the Bronx) Do ya still RP with the same group of people from the Dark Ages LARP?

(I heard the Dark Ages LARP is on hold indefinitely.... What did you do?!) :)

Well I -have- a job...I just hate it. I'm not leaving until I've actually secured something new for myself. But I'm sorry to hear that you are out of work. Good luck.

John and I don't really LARP that much anymore. We're kinda taking a break and mostly just playing table top games or Second Life Sim RPGs. And it wasn't -my- fault! We both left before the game ended. I wasn't playing during the last chronicle. I doubt that Dark Ages will return though. The only game active at the moment that I know about is Shoshana and Ken's game, Eribus Fragment.

Any reason why you and John cut back on LARP'ing? I went to the NYC Troupe LARP forums and I saw all these new people there, it felt like going back to elementary school for the first day and seeing no one you recognize. :(

Eh... it was a bunch of stuff. John was running a super hero LARP which got to the point of being more stressful than fun. And both of us were sick of downtimes. Downtimes just became such a bad trend. It forced us to have to go every week, and if you didn't, you missed out on major plot. It was just too much. They basically became mini games in themselves. We needed a break. We're honestly too busy to commit ourselves once a week like that.
Man, I haven't signed on to the forums in months. I have no idea what's even going on anymore. We'd come back and play in one-shots, but a long term game is just too much of a commitment.
Like I said, Shoshana and Ken are running a game and I think alot of the group still plays in it ^_^
