LOL! Yes, I really do think that they should have explained that whole "chocolate-makes-everything-better" part of the plot. *snerk* Otherwise, Harry can't have been too bright to accept candy from a random stranger on the train.

And yes! Boggart!Snape. Funniest. Thing. Ever. Makes me wish my greatest fear was one of my enemies just so in the highly unlikely event that I ever see a boggart, I could imagine them in very strange outfits and then take a picture for blackmail.

Heh, I watched Troy with Little Brother, who fortunately has the same kind of sense of humour as I do. We sniggered at many things, but mostly the incredibly awful rowing skills and technique apparent any time boats were present - why is it that they will quite happily go to ridiculous lengths to show 'look, we've got mad CG skillz, phear our fleet of a thousand identical ships', but can't be arsed to let a few extras practice rowing for a while until they can manage something approximating timing? Meh.

Of course, he would have failed to appreciate many of the finer points, such as the way naked!Brad always managed to look so airbrushed/softly lit as to look like a piece of Theban Band artwork even before you ran an 'oil painting' filter over the image... oh yes, and Sean Bean.

Plus, every time Agamemnon opened his mouth I was thinking 'hang on, wasn't he in Sharpe'? I can't usually do this trick of recognising actors with different haircuts/costumes unless I'm paying specific attention, but evidently I've been paying too much ( ... )
