I just read that Emru Townsend passed away last nightI met Emru three years ago at the siggraph conference in LA. An intensely sweet, humble, intelligent, and all together wonderful man. He was only diagnosed with leukemia just last year...I can't believe how quickly this happened

Reminds me too much about Keith Parkinson passing away a couple years ago from leukemia too.

Hopefully they are enjoying a nice conversation together.
