Have you considered a tubal plus uterine abalation? You're going to have a hard time finding a doctor who will remove a "healthy" organ due to complications (like the other organs near by deciding to sag, vaginal porlapse, incontinence, etc).

Thank you for the suggestion I hadn't actually heard about that. I've looked into it a bit and it does seem safer and possibly easier to convince a doctor to do. I will look more into though, thank you very much.

In addition to this, start out at Planned Parenthood before any other doc. Depending on where you live, they are typically 100% more likely to listen and have solutions for you. They won't shoot you with bingos or arguments, but will let you weigh all your options. Even if they don't do the procedures that you end up going with, they will give you a solid referral to someone who does that will leave you with no questions asked from the other provider.

Good luck.

I had very similarly fucked up evil periods to what you describe and my doctor didn't need convincing, he was perfectly happy to do a hysterectomy on me, in fact he volunteered to.

That is comforting to hear, throughout my research I've heard horror stories of being dismissed and pleas being ignored. I actually have an appointment with a gyno on the Third, I'm hoping she'll readily listen and talk over the options with me instead of trying to convince me not to go through with this.
