I'm not sure how I'm going to go about blogging. I am accustomed to very different forms of communication: First, I learned to write English papers in high school and similar essays in college. I've spent half my time in life writing, in ten thousand different mediums and styles, although never as a nursing student. Hehe. Adjusting to a new medium is always weird, if indeed you decide the medium has anything at all to offer you.
Interesting thoughts about the purpose of blogging. I don't think many people think of blogs as a journal medium, per se -- more of a place to write down interesting thoughts and link to interesting articles/websites. But oooh! your comment about not wanting your life to be "on public display for the amusement of others." You are so obviously not a youngest child!!!
