Update on my Mom

Well, she just got back from the doctor's. They're going to do a biopsy on both of her breasts...it's not sounding good. *sigh* I'm not sure I can deal with this again...especially with it being my mom. you can always access information about breast cancer on webMD then you don't have to fear the unknown and you'll know just how concerned you will need to be... there is no reason to be uninformed. That may also help your mom as well... she may feel better about it knowing the risks and the survival rates (which are generally very high for breast cancer). THey may also have suggestions on diet changes to avoid getting it if you're at risk or possibly foods that help to boost your ody's natural defenses if indeed she does have it.

Hey. I'm sure you have heard this many times already...but I really do know what you are going through. I just got done dealing with my dad going through having colon and liver cancer. It was a long twisted road..but he made it. And IF that is what is going on with your mom...she will make it too. The key is...she has to keep her spirits up and have a good outlook on everything no matter what doctors say. Your mom is in my thoughts and prayers and so are you. Good luck with everything!!!
Much love,
Kelly

I know what you mean, my aunt ended up with breast cancer, and she was actually showing signs of improvement and on the road to recovery, but then it came back and she ended dying from it. Cause of that my mother has to go get checked out every once in awhile to make sure she doesn't get it just to be on the safe side and all.
