"Think black, black like my soul."
- Jessica Kirschbaum
Yes, you may date back from the gory glory days of Siouxsie, Smith, Murphy, and all the old idols. You may lurk about the gloomiest techno-trance clubs and bus shelters of today, picking at zits smothered under your caked on plaster of Paris. No matter your origins, some things never change: black is in, misery is in, fashionable alienation? Pile that shit on! Sometimes called punks with brains and manners, more often referred to as bloody tedious as all-get-out, goths will likely continue to make their abysmal presence felt on the scene for many years to come.
