Well said, both of you guys. But i especially agree with the school part. The pressure to get into good colleges and make money and be successful is getting ridiculous. Its almost freaky how happy this makes the adults. Can they not see that their children's/teenager's lives of simply being a teenager or a child are being ripped away from them? Lay off, god damnit! Success is important, but so is happiness. There needs to be a healthy balance. And the media DOES blow everything out of proportion. Can you really be a happy individual when you are the size of a toothpick and the only thing you have a passion for is thin rectangular pieces of plastic known as credit cards? I mean, come on here. And of course the TV shows like MTV and VH1 like to make people think that this kind of thing is normal for everyone else. People really act like that. But of course everything else going on the world that DOESN'T have to do with appearences, accessories, or celebrities shouldn't matter all that much. Society is becoming so self-absorbed and
