As soon as Ryan sees the network post he goes out and gets a six pack of root beer then takes it over to sit down with Seth. He doesn't say anything, just nabs a bottle out of the carton and nudges the rest of the carton toward Seth.

Seth picks up a can and opens it, bringing it to his lips. The taste is familiar and would normally cheer him up.

Ryan sips his own rootbeer in silence. He doesn't really expect the rootbeer to cheer Seth up. It's more about just letting Seth know that he's there for him and waiting until he wants to talk.
