It's been many years since I last watched DBZ. Many, many years. Eight, maybe. I was twelve at the time, so I guess it's saying a bit. Regardless, I watched that show, every slow, slogging episode like a cult ritual. It was a guilty pleasure from which many horrible, horrible fan fics arose. I just found this, due to your link on DA! Been following you for a while now, and bam. Suddenly LJ.

I agree though. I have a hard time watching Kai because it just seems to different. I understand them remaking it and whatnot to try and bring it back into popular graces, but just leave it alone and let us avid fans re watch the old series online or something.

Oh that's awesome! Yay, I have a new friend. ^_^

I like it, though it doesn't have the same effect as the original series did. But it gives me an excuse to watch it over again, without all the extra stuff, which isn't bad. I'm actually watching DBKai online, there are a couple ports where you can see it.

Yeah, it does make excuses.. but I think half of the nostalgic reasons behind the original series was just that. You ended up having to wait a few episodes for things to really pick up, and when they did.. You were left with a cliff hanger. It kept people interested. >.>
