its, well, you know. not pure blood but i mean, it's not like its blue blood either. could be worse. you could have no blood. that'd hurt. having no blood i mean... and having blue blood.....

AB+ is quite rare, as I recall. Only a very small percentage of the population is AB+.

...Actually, I might be thinking of AB-. But still.

I looked it up after posting. It's about the third rarest bloodtype, I think it was AB- and O- that were rarer.... But I'm the universal recipient! Yay! Cough. Splutter. Dies.

AB- is 1% of the population. It is the rarest.
O+ is 30% of the population. It is the most common. (That's what I am. Common as mud. Yay!)
For the others, I'm not sure. How did you find out? (I found out when they sent me my blood donor card. :))

We may be common, but as the universal donor we're the most useful.

I was looking through some old photo albums and came across a piece of cardboardy stuff that had stuff like blood type, d.o.b, head circumference (wtf?) and birth type (teehee, wrigleys lift out. no idea what it is, but it sounds funny. wrigleys. heh!), etc that was about me (despite not having my name on it.
