I'm not sure that counts as an ellipsis, which is not just a series of periods, but rather a distinct punctuation mark with it's own formatting. specifically, I think it's three dots spaced at 1.5 with half-ellipses (open and close parentheses) around them, kinda like this: (. . .) except closer together and not at the bottom of the line but in the middle. but still, yours works well enough.
