There are things people have said to me only once that I will never be able to forget. I think the oldest thing on this list dates back to 1980. Most of these are pieces of advice or observations on life that friends of mine have made. It is a very incomplete list by the way. And I'm SO pissed I wasn't cool enough, memorable, or interesting enough to make the list... I'm totally gunna hafta work on that...

Mssrs. Baldwin? You mean Matt's quote? My first year of full-time teaching, we had a real merry-go-round of administrators. There were no contingency plans in place. Roles were subjected to constant change, and you would find out one day that on the next day they wanted something from you that would be humanly impossible. Hence the quote ( ... )
