What does Lee do? Wondering if anyone out here in LJ land hears about anything similar, if we can pass it his way.

I'm retarded about all things IT so I'll just copy and paste from his resume:

"Provided Level 3 network WAN/LAN support for USDA FS enterprise network. This network consists of 1800+ nodes with 30,000+ users over the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Architect new facility and facility moves: designing, planning, and ordering all network related elements. Provide integration and engineering support between the Connectivity Line of Service with the Architecture and Engineering groups. Design and approve any IP architecture including documentation, site integration and updated maintenance."

Basically what I know is he's a senior network engineer but he prefers to stay on the architecture side of things. He doesn't do any of the physical setting up of the networks or user support, and he currently manages the people who do those things.

So I already know about all the nermal stuff, but I'll just give you another <3 here and hope for the best that this is finally behind you and her.

As for Lee - that's awful that he has to take a pay cut. Is he starting to look for another job now?

Yeah, he has been looking already, but hasn't had any luck. Obv the job market blows chunks right now, and he's looking for a pretty specialized position, since any normal network engineer position won't work. He definitely doesn't want to take a step backwards career wise.

Ok, I know how you love hearing from me, but Greg and I have four cats now that I'm married and we take them to Stream Valley in Ashburn. Its really close to TLC and a specialty cat clinic in Leesburg so they can refer you almost anywhere. The note I'm trying to make is that they are inexpensive, Mary (the vet) is exceptional and really cares. Our littlest, Binx, got an upper respiratory and after putting him on an expensive and unnecessary antihistamine prescribed by some woman we'd never met at our regular vet, Marshall Vet (which I later found out vets affectionately call "kitty dope" because it makes them lose it) and an expensive bill, we changed. Mary gave free advice over the phone and even recommended an over the counter antihistamine that cost me 1.79 @ costco for 100. I know its a bit of a trip for you, but sometimes when its an animal's health at stake, its worth the trip. I hope Nermal's cheek has healed up.
