This post contains loads of spoilers. Let's start with the 135 icons I made today. I scanned all the chapter headers and some other things. They're free for the taking, really. I think you hit on what bothered me most in the epilogue, though! Whooshing into the future is so, so jarring.

I've never reread one of them instantly but I might. I just might. And take it slower. Ahhhhhhhhh fuck it was like sunshine on a loaf of new bread.

Epilogue was cute for what it was but I didn't want it. It should have been left out of the US editions since they leave out other things, anyway!

It didn't feel as though that much time elapsed in book 7. I imagine it's the same time as a school year ... but it seemed a lot shorter. I was, like, where the fuck did that baby come from??

I have just one more thing to add. When the DH movie comes out and the Battle of Hogwarts scene approaches, it would be fitting for you to yell out in the audience like you did with PoA, "THIS IS WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN!" Because that would be absolutely necessary for anyone to get in the proper frame of mind :D
