SCRAP: Shattered (Severus/Lily)

This started off as a piece of original fiction, but I hadn't the energy or the motivation to get very far. I've had this lying around for a really long time, and every now and again I would make changes, hoping to find a use for it. And then I decided I wanted to convert this to an AU Severus/Lily fic, in which Severus tries to get Lily involved

Aw, thanks... glad you think so. :) I just have too many other projects I want to focus on right now - perhaps when I'm done with them all I'll come back.

Ooohhh this is really neat. There were some great lines in here, like the stuff about memory in the third paragraph. I like your depiction of the angel of death, it seems very outside the norm. This is a cool little draft-thing, I'd be curious to see where it's headed.

An interesting take on Death. I wonder if this is merely an illusion before he dies or if this is what is really happening. I’m certain that Severus would embrace death more so than any other Harry Potter character and I thought it was interesting that he saw Lily when he looked at the face of death.)

Thank you! :) When I had been plotting out this whole thing, I had decided this part would come at the beginning, as kind of an illusion that would foreshadow the end - and somehow you caught that, which I find rather incredible, haha.

If I get around to writing the whole thing out, it will make more sense, I think.
