I'd love to come to this talk, and will gladly play hookey from work for it. I'm also friends with Heather and have seen her speak previously about wikipedia. However, I don't have $275 to drop on a conference, especially for only one talk. You don't happen to have comp tickets or know how chill they are about me crashing one talk?

It's a great question, but unfortunately I don't have a good answer. I, personally, would welcome crashers -- the more the merrier! -- but I'll ask around and get back to you with what I find out.
