Took a tour of the town by bike.

Went for a long bikeride today. Took lots of pics of around Mito, Its a rather large city. Felt good to be out in the fresh japanese air ^^ Everyone kept staring at me, Then I remembered I am white, and in an asian urban enviornment. I saw one other non asian on my bikeride, Im happy im not alone! >.<;Anyways, what everyone here wants. The pictures

Bike ride sounds like it was fun. I saved all the pictures to the computer at home and will also print them out for you. Glad to hear you are having fun. The starbucks was neat to see, also enjoyed viewing the street scenes, doesn't look alot different than a larger city here, except for everything being written in Japanese. Get some rest, school starts soon.

Well, the buildings arent as tall, but that because the japanese dont like tall buildings, (ironic isnt it) But of what you saw is only 1 street in central mito. It spreads out about 15-20 miles in each direction, or more.
