New Journal.
Hello, all! If you are still reading this journal, then I just wanted to let you know that I have started fresh with a new one. While I love this journal greatly, and will keep it for all the memories it has in it [and because it is my oldest LJ], I did not feel that the name "china_lizard" really suited me any more; it is a name attatched to a person which, while they still linger in the back of my mind, does not accurately define who I am any more; for one thing, it isn't very feminine, and as I have been trying to get in touch with my more sensual side, "china_lizard" has become an increasingly male-sounding name to me. :/ So I chose another name that inncluded my Chinese name and a nerd reference, but still had an air of femininity to it that could be applied to my new, more Gothic persona as well. :) [I have read from both Voltaire and the Lady of the Manners that this is The Thing To Do, and I rather like it!
Anyways...another reason for the changs is that I did not feel like spending $10 just to change my LJ name; it was much more cost-efficient to just start over anew. My new journal is ladytamli.
If I have not already added you, but you wish to be added, follow the standard procedure and leave a comment on that journals friends-only banner post, and/or feel free to just friend me. If I don't friend you back, however, please understand that it is not because I strongly dislike you or something, but is more because I am trying to keep my friends-list from getting -quite- so massive. Due to life being...well...life...I don't always have time to read the journals of 20 or 30 people, and what is going on in their lives...with several communities besides. I have met many lovely people who I decided not to include, and I hope one day we will get to meet in real life! :D If you still want to keep in contact, but I do not add your journal for whatever reason, you can also feel free to contact me at tamlihua@mindless.com. [Yes, I even changed my email address to fit my new persona.]
Please also be aware that sometime soon I will be making all the entries in this journal friends-only again, just as a process of tidying up a bit. :) I am only keeping the Christianity Communities added, because while I enjoy communicating there now and again, I do not want to be involved in the everyday drama that goes on there; I hope that any mods from those two communities will forgive me.
I hope all of you had a lovely Valentine's Day, and that this day of February the 15th sees you well also!
