It's really no fun, is it? I haven't been feeling too good about things either this year...not so surprising.

Of course, I haven't seen you in forever (gah!!), but there's no need to apologize or be sorry about not being happy and upbeat all the time. No one's ever happy all the time (even if they act like they are). And if you're NOT happy and you CAN'T be all bubbly, that's OK!! Of course the goal is to be more carefree and confident again, but while you're going through stuff, you shouldn't have to answer to anyone. We're ALL have bad (or worse) weeks/months/years, and we understand! (Not that you're being super apologetic here, but I don't want you to feel bad/sad/whatever for how you think you've been presenting yourself to everyone because you shouldn't.)

But. ANYWAY. I'm glad some things have been getting better.
It's definitely weird that we haven't seen eachother in forever...the next time, I guess, NEITHER of us will be teenagers anymore, and the idea will be CREEPY. Now why did things seem more promising when we turned 18

We have like the worst communication luck ever. But we're still awesome.
