My laundry list of must do for this next month and a half for the house.

  • Give the kitchen  that planned deep cleaning, I started it last night, and feel really good about it. BUT I have a lot more to do before I am satisfied.

  • Taking out the table that is in the kitchen right now and putting it in the craft room as work space...

  • Fridge and Stove replacement - they've bought the farm and it's time to let them move on to the appliance recycling center. Need to do this once I have my kitchen landlord ready LOL!

  • Put the hard wood pedestal table in the kitchen - move table in there now to craft room.

  • replacing the dining chairs we have now (can't stand how wobbly they are and the table itself is in awesome condition)

  • Replace/Make curtains, whole house. Maybe use curtains from living room in sun room... still need one more walls worth though.

  • replace the curtain rods everywhere

  • spring rod and curtain in the pantry - magnets at the sides and weighing the bottoms down?

  • Restock the pantry well...

    • Sources:

      • Walmart

      • Dollar Tree

      • Aldi

  • Whole Foods or Net for bulk supplies - maybe BJ's? We need to stretch our budget as far as we can.

  • Homeschool stations - ACK When did they get old enough that we needed more than one station for online schooling?

  • Down stairs bedroom conversion - was the dining room once upon a time, became the play room but now will be the Master Bedroom.  Not having to go down stairs to the bathroom at night when I'm exhausted and have two left feet is a bonus

  • turning the sun porch off that aforementioned room into a little private relaxey haven

  • Get both kids set up in their own bedroom spaces - cosleeping gonna end and mama gonna sleep!

  • Get the Day bed upstairs and set up in our present bedroom so the Diva has a very girly bedroom. Need to look for mirror panels and a rail to mount so she can have a little ballerina barre in her room. She wants posters on the wall too. Will need to keep an eye out for Dance related things that are still little girly but can grow up with her.

  • Renting a Rug Doctor for the carpets and couches

  • Fix the toddler bed for Garret

  • Get Mario wall clings for Garret's room

  • Consider replacement couches - but may go to somewhere like Bobs outlet or Rent a center and buying used... nothing new for a while until kids are older and we're settled where we'll eventually be.

  • Sort/wash/box/send children's clothing that no longer fits to either newest cousin being born in mid Oct or to goodwill.

  • Get more bookshelves for the existing books we have that need to come out of rubbermaid tubs.

  • find more Hercules hooks so I can get more pics hung. (see dollar store for more frames LOL)

  • Maybe get a fresh coat of paint in the house?

  • Get the landlord to replace the bath tub.  ugh.  just no words.

  • Get the landlord to have the furnace serviced before we have it turned on for the first time for the season.

  • Refill our oil tank ASAP - it's 2.399 a gallon right now - and that's a darn good price.  We have a 250 gallon tank so I figure just under 600 should fill us up and start us off on a good footing come winter when we really need it.  Our hot water is Gas, but our heat is split between oil and electric.

I can do this... and hopefully get our home looking like a real home againsoon. Between me being sick and then Tess having dance so much I really didn't get any time for the house this summer and it looks like a tornado hit. UGH.
