I don't know if this will work, but if you want to make sure she is getting enough water, I would just offer it to her (if possible) by taking the water bottle and holding it in front of her to see if she will drink. I'd say try it a few times a day.
My little Tequila drinks at least once daily that I've noticed, but it could easily be more times a day when I'm not around.
Have an extra bottle? Maybe you could rig that up on the plastic bin's edge. I imagine it's more like a tub though. Either way, it might be worth a shot.
oooh... yeah I already rigged the water bottle up. I have her literally next to my bed side so while I don't watch her every second - since my computer is in the same room, I'm definitely here more often then not.... I have heard/seen her drink once, and the water level isn't going down on the bottle...so I know she isn't drinking.
Holding the bottle for her didn't work, either... *sigh* I already tried that one. For some reason she is eating food out of the bowl in the container, but hasn't been drinking unless I've forced it on her...

sometimes with mine I have to put some water on my finger and have them lick it off to remind them that it exists.
