I was wondering if anyone has some ideas for cheap possibly homemade chinchilla toys. My chins look pretty bored a lot of the time but buying them new toys all the time gets so expensive

Another one I like is Pet Products by Nature: http://www.petproductsbynature.com/index.html Barbi is more than willing to work with people on getting the most for your money. I paid $60 for huge a flat rate box of wood back in January, and I had so much I didn't know what I was going to do with it all. :) (I'll probably be ordering again next month. I don't have chinchillas, I have wood chippers.)
Yes, I do that too. I recently got them a parrot toy off the clearance rack that was like a hanging box with corn husks and rope in it that they went nuts for and it got me thinking about how it would probably be pretty easy to make if I knew what to use or where to get supplies.
