Metamora always greets me with such fearless candor. Every time I return I take a deep breath when I get out of the car and the scent never fails. I came and went without so much as a hello and goodbye. Time enough to catch up with the rentals, see an old friend, and wash some towels. We're celebrating my grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary.
