I was wondering what you think is the best cage for chinchillas? Also, where is the best place to get wood shelving and wood ramps and stuff? Right now I am using this cage: http://www.amazon.com/Super-Pet-First

that's hilarious I JUST finished cleaning that same cage going "This is has got to go, it's SUCH a pain in the arse to clean!...I'm going to go back to looking up new cages this afternoon"
a LOT of people like ferret nation cages. they do require modification, and you can't use the ramps they come with, but they look really nice. here is a thread with a TON of them.
personally, i use a modified bird cage. here's a (giant) picture! some things are different now. it's pretty giant, and i had to re-do the bottom of it because the spacing was too large, and i made shelves and got bridges and things to fill it up. the bottom is a pull out pan, and i put whatever junk mail and newspapers i get in the bottom and do a big clean once a week.

(I have a tendency to move once a year or so and I love how they fold flat for moving...among other reasons.)

for shelving, it's way cheaper to make it yourself. home depot has everything you need, and usually they cut the wood for you too. if you do want to order online, the following sites sell shelves and perches:
